    • There are several ways to view Lead Time and Cycle Time results:

    1. Work Item View Page

    Whenever we access a work item, the lead time and cycle time are automatically recalculated. If the new values exceed the alert threshold and the Alert Comment feature is activated in the project configuration, we will receive a notification in the form of a work item comment stating:

    🔔 Alert: Cycle Time is 8.1 days, surpassing the alert threshold of 4 days (target: 5 days). Please take action to prevent delays.

    2. Kanban Board

    Applicable Project Types & Board Types

    • Company-managed Kanban board

    • Company-managed Scrum board

    For company-managed project boards, we can configure the card layout to display lead time and cycle time directly on the board.

    3. Work Item Search List

    In the All Work search view, we can add the two flow time fields to the search list.

    We can also query based on the status indicator, value, and unit of flow time through JQL (Jira Query Language).
